Happiness

I finally received my student evaluations from last year and was happy reading that my students learned in my classes how to do things for themselves. “She’s not going to do the work for you,” one wrote. “I had to figure a lot out for myself.”

Others:

  • I enjoyed the class so much that I would look forward to coming each week.
  • Ms. Sheppard was very encouraging and was always trying to push us to do our best.

Yes! This has inspired me to keep on keeping on. I want my students to walk out of my classroom with a greater sense of self, knowing they can do anything they put their minds to. That’s how I learned. Happiness is believing that you can complete something and doing it.
