Church

I was raised Catholic but, recently, I wanted to try something different so I hit up Northland, “a church distributed,” last Monday night, a non-denominational church that I had never been to before but had heard a lot about. I arrived, joined my best friend in one of the back rows, and allowed myself to connect with God. It had been a long time since I’ve been to church, but I pray often. And it’s funny, I found the sermon “The Redeemed Life” more motivating than I expected and felt like the minister spoke right to me with his Steps to Redemption. My best friend and I looked at each other after the service, with tears in our eyes, and said, “See you next Monday?”

The perfect church service, would be one we were almost unaware of. Our attention would have been on God. C.S. Lewis
