No Joke

“This is the day upon which we are reminded of what we are on the other three hundred and sixty-four.” Mark Twain

I drove nearly 600 miles today, from the mountains of North Carolina to the flatland of Florida, waiting for anyone to play a practical joke on me. Now, it’s five minutes before April 2 and I’m at work, so it’s probably not going to happen this year. There were, however, plenty of fools.

As for me, I’m not much of a prankster. I usually think of something clever to say only after the moment has passed. What’s the greatest prank you’ve ever pulled?
