Sag

For those of you with birthday’s from Nov. 22 – Dec. 21, including my dad and me, here’ s a little info about each of you, courtesy of How Stuff Works.

The Sagittarian Man –

The typical Sagittarian man is well-traveled and well-read. He has boundless enthusiasm. Sagittarian men need to love their work. Career concerns often take them away from family life, but they aren’t as driven as other fire-signs. They are philosophical and a bit old-fashioned. The typical Sagittarian man keeps himself in good physical condition.

The Sagittarian Woman –

Sagittarian women are friendly, sociable, and outgoing. They have a reputation for being blunt speakers who don’t worry how their opinions will be received. Like their male counterparts, Sagittarian women love to travel and are curious about other cultures. Like other fire-sign females, they are not afraid to take risks. Sagittarian women are often tall and svelte, though they have a tendency to put on weight in middle age. They have a fashion style all their own.

On Nov. 27, I celebrated my 26th birthday. It should also be noted that Ricky Carmichael, the greatest of all time, celebrated his 31st birthday that same day.

“There are few more independent thinkers than a Sagittarius born on November 27. They enjoy controversy and are apt to seek out an eccentric lifestyle. These go-getters have leadership potential and seem to be always on the move. They are notorious practical jokers.”

I’m usually quite skeptical about horoscopes and astrology, but that pretty much sums me up: independent thinker, controversial, eccentric, go-getter and a joker. Sounds about right! This year, my dad turns 60! He still acts like he’s 12! Age aint nothing but a number, my friends. Dad, if you’re reading this, I can’t wait to ride again.

For those of us who missed the 39th annual Winter National Olympics at Gatorback Cycle Park in Gainesville, Fla., here’ s a supercross highlight reel from MXPTV.com.

The highlights from the motocross portion of the event.

Did you know the Mini O’s had more than 1900 entries this year?
