Dade City Motocross will host a fundraiser to benefit the That Others May Live Foundation on Memorial Day Weekend at the Pasco County Fairgrounds.
Five-man teams of motocross enthusiasts will run laps for 12 hours to benefit the foundation. More than $5,000 already has been pledged.
“It raises money for the education of children whose parents have died in rescue operations,” Dade City Motocross owner Randy Yoho said. “A friend from Georgia approached me about doing the ride, and I’ve decided to help him promote it. It’s going to be a 12-hour relay race and we got a lot of really great riders coming out.”
Admission to the event is free for spectators, but donations will be accepted and contributed directly to the foundation.
Established in 2002 by Michael Agin, the That Others May Live Foundation benefits the children of fallen Air Force personnel.
