THIRD ANNUAL STMX PRO-AM REVS UP FOR MAY 17-18 WEEKEND

HOLLYWOOD, FL, MAY 13 – For the last two years, the Seminole Tribe Motocross Park’s Pro-AM event has been the highlight of the year for fans of the world’s fastest and most exciting sport.  This year, on May 17 and 18, the stakes are higher than ever and the action will be even more intense for a STMX Pro-Am you won’t soon forget.

Professional and amateur riders will compete on both bikes and quads on the 1.3 mile motocross track at the Seminole Tribe Motocross Park on the Big Cypress Reservation for $10,000 in cash and prizes. $5,000 in cash will go to the winning professional rider and $5,000 in giveaway items will go to the winning amateur rider.  A three-moto format, combining times from three races over two days, will determine the winners, who will be announced on Sunday.

But that’s not all, as the fun and excitement for the whole family is enhanced by a Sunday half-time show which will feature the event’s first ever Trophy Truck Race.  So there’s no reason why you shouldn’t start your Memorial Day celebrations a week early at the Seminole Tribe Motocross Park.

On Saturday, gates open at 6am and the first race begins at 9:30am.  On Sunday, gates open at 7am, with the first race kicking off at 10:30am.

For tickets, priced at $20 on Saturday for a two-day admission, and $10 on Sunday, please call 863-983-1894.  Tribal members and employees will be admitted free with ID.

And if you feel you’ve got what it takes to compete in this prestigious event, call 863-983-1894 or visit www.seminoletribemotocross.com for more information.  Race fees are $35 per rider, per class, which covers both days.

As always, we race rain or shine.
