I’m taking off for the Dude Ranch today, traveling more than 600 miles to Hurricane Mills, Tennessee for a motocross race, to which I have been assigned a floater, albeit the female floater at that. The weather is forecasted to hit 90 degrees almost every day, but I’m used to it and I’m actually excited to go-I’ve only ever covered the Florida amateur motocross races, so I can’t wait to see what happens for the Sunshine State guys and gals!
Then – after the bike races are over, everyone hits the road, thankful that the week is over and they get to go home. I, on the other hand, get to stay (and sweat) for the final round of the ATV motocross series that I’ve been covering as of late. I’ll keep ya posted on the longest working assignment I’ve ever had!
